Memberships

Memberships are available in two levels: annual sponsor members and life members. Each membership receives unique benefits and all impact the lives of students nationwide.

Partnership Initiative

The Partnership Initiative Program is a 3-year partnership in which charitable foundations make an annual donation to the OTF to fund a specific unit of our curriculum.

Direct Donations

Whether it’s cash, real estate or planned giving there are many tax deductible options to support OTF though donations. Please consult with your tax advisor to structure your gift.

EVENTS

Check back for the date of the 2025 benefit concert. The annual Outdoor Adventures Cup Benefit Sporting Clays Shoot is coming up on October 8! Events are a fun way to support OTF throughout the year.

Memberships

Holding a membership of any level supports OTF’s mission to teach outdoor education through the Outdoor Adventures curriculum, which is now in more than 1,200 schools across 48 states, impacting 120,000+ K-12 students annually.

Sponsor Members receive a logo decal sent in a welcome letter and the quarterly Times Afield newsletter.

Life Members receive the benefits of a regular Sponsor Member and an engraved, special-edition, two-knife set and a lapel pin. The one-time $1,500 is divided into funding one new Outdoor Adventures classroom ($1,000), and the remaining $500 is added to the OTF’s endowment to provide for future growth.

OTF Sponsor – $50.00 annual membership fee

Angling Curriculum

We have partnered up with Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s Outdoor Fund to help fund angling curriculum and equipment for students all across the country. This provides OTF with $150,000 over 3 years, specifically for Outdoor Adventure schools purchasing the anglers unit. Thank you Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s!

Wildlife Conservation

Safari Club International joined our Partnership Initiative Program to sponsor the Wildlife Conservation unit of Outdoor Adventures at $25,000 annually for three years. Thank you Safari Club International Foundation for helping students learn about the North American Model of Wildlife Conservation!

Shooting Sports Curriculum

Houston Safari Club Foundation is providing OTF $15,000 annually for three years to sponsor the shooting sports unit of Outdoor Adventures. Hundreds of students have gone on to compete in shooting sports as a direct result of Outdoor Adventures.

Outdoor Journalist Education Foundation

The Outdoor Journalist Education Foundation of America (OJEFA) co-sponsors the wildlife photography unit of Outdoor Adventures. OJEFA helps students pursue careers in outdoor communication.

501 (c)(3)

The Outdoors Tomorrow Foundation is a qualified 501 (c)(3) charitable organization under IRS regulations and does not provide legal, tax, accounting or financial advice or services. All non-monetary gifts must be approved by the OTF Board of Trustees. The Board has ultimate responsibility of acknowledging all gifts made to the Foundation. The Board is also responsible for compliance with the current IRS requirements in acknowledgment of such gifts. IRS Publication 561 covers determining the value of donated property and IRS Publication 526 covers charitable contributions. These techniques and strategies are the OTFs understanding of legal and tax related issues but is not a recommendation of this or other planned giving strategies. Please consult your own legal and tax advisors for their guidance regarding planned giving strategies to your specific personal specific circumstance.
